Say hello to the perfect holiday recipe! Whether you’re using leftover cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving or just looking for a new dish, this One Pot Cranberry Turkey Meatball recipe is calling your name.

Ingredients

For the Cranberry Sauce

  • 2 cans of cranberry sauce
  • 2 cups of orange juice, no pulp
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Turkey Meatballs

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ white onion, diced
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

For the Cranberry Sauce

  1. Add the cranberry sauce to a large pot
  2. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
  3. Next, add the orange juice and cover for simmer for 15 minutes
  4. Turn the heat to low and cover again while you make the meatballs

For the Turkey Meatballs

  1. Add the olive oil and diced onion to a small pan
  2. Cook over medium heat until translucent, about 5-7 minutes
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes
  4. Once cooled, add to a large bowl with the ground turkey
  5. Add the orange juice then sprinkle the seasonings over
  6. Next, add the breadcrumbs and use your hands to thoroughly combine the ingredients
  7. After, make 1” thick meatballs
  8. Then, place the meatballs in the cranberry sauce
  9. Turn the heat to medium-low and cover
  10. Cook the meatballs in the cranberry sauce for 15 minutes
  11. After 15 minutes, rotate the meatballs and spoon the sauce over the meatballs
  12. Cook for another 10 minutes on low heat
  13. After 10 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley
